Zabuton, the floor cushion that makes your meditation more comfortable.
Originally from Japan, the zabuton is a cushion designed to make sitting on the floor more comfortable. It's found in Japanese homes, not only for watching TV, but also for sitting. It is traditionally used in the Seiza position, i.e. on the knees.

Throughout the world, zabuton is known for its use in meditation. Usually placed under a “zafu” meditation cushion, it acts as a cushion to relieve pressure on the ankles and knees during long meditations.
At Atelier Cocon we design zabutons that are intended for meditation practice, but can also be used as decorative floor cushions.
We offer different types of zabutons, each suited to different postures and styles:
- The minimal zabuton :
Presenting a simple, pointed shape, this zabuton padded with high-quality foam provides dense, stable support and cushioning, ideal for a yin yoga practice or for meditation in a kneeling position.
- The zabuton pouf:
More rounded in appearance, this floor cushion will give you a sense of being lifted off the ground. The extra kapok filling provides soft, cozy support for cross-legged meditation. This cushion can also be used as a decorative element.

- The zabuton with handle:
Equipped with a handle, this floor cushion is ideal for moving from one room to another or if you're practicing in a studio. Its less dense padding makes it lighter to carry.
