Studio Spotlight - Spirited, Biarritz
21 Aug 2024
Introducing: Spirited, an esoteric studio boutique in Biarritz founded by our dear client Lexi Methvin.
Let's start by saying that the process for creating studio props for Spirited was an absolute pleasure. From our very first introduction call, we knew we'll have a blast designing for Lexi because she was looking for singularity. Her unique vision for her space and her aesthetics led her to opt for our bespoke offer as we were instantly inspired by her world.
Starting from her brand chart, we created a board that could translate her chart into interior design elements for the studio space. It combined textures, shapes and predominantly blue, gray and copper tones.

The Meditation Cushion Set
The studio space at Spirited offers guided meditation sessions. Shades of blue being a big part of the brand identity, we suggested a combination of fabric for the meditation sets that would incorporate different nuances of tranquil blue to bring a soothing atmosphere to the meditation sessions.
We went for a soft velvety deep sea blue fabric on the meditation zabutons ( big floor cushion serving as a resting support to the knees, ankles and feets) and a silky light blue tint for the modern zafu, also present on the zabuton handles.

The Sound Bath Futon
As the body relaxes and even gets heavier during sound baths, it is important that the lying surface supports the entire body comfortably enabling all tension to be released from muscles and joints. Therefore we designed the futons from a super soft silky like fabric with an even lighter tint of blue and added a generous padding of Kapok filling to ensure maximum comfort.

The logo
Spirited logo is a beauty in itself, and we were thrilled we could achieve with embroidery the three shaded winged logo.

The Accessories
At the boutique corner of Spirited you'll find lavender eye pillows and beautiful crystals among other objetcs for which Lexi wanted to make embroidered bags for packaging.
This is where we embedded the copper element of her color chart in the design of her accessories.
Spirited had a strong visual identity that easily inspired our work. Clients like Lexi do make it easier for us to create studio equipment and accessories and we feel grateful to somehow be part of these kind of elevated spaces thought for bringing community together and sparking healing in our world.
So if you are around Biarritz, don't miss out on visiting Lexi's sacred space. You'll find community, beautiful healing sessions and a rich front boutique where you can shop your altar and sacred space objects.
